Permanent Connection Modem
How do I know my Instant Internet modem is working?
There are 4 lights in the Instant Internet modem indicating service:
Power:  Red light will be on indicating power, it will be red when is on.

Signal:
Green- Good EVDO coverage
Orange - Medium EVDO coverage
Red - Low EVDO coverage
Connect - turns on when actively navigating or when computer is downloading data.
Ethernet - turns on green when the connection is made through Ethernet.

Verify that "Network Connections"/ "Local Area Network" marks IP automatic.
Verify the connection mode to "Modem" chosen by customer (Ether or USB, USB requires additional configuration) is selected (button is located near the plugged in cable)
If problem persists contact Technical Services at (787-620-0600).

Wireless cards and USB's
How do I know the Instant Internet modem is working?
Verify that the wireless card or USB is recognized by computer.
If computer does not recognize card or USB, client should contact Technical Services at 787-620-0600 before visiting one of our service kiosks or stores.

What affects connection speed?

The speed will be affected if the user is in an area with 1x coverage instead of  EVDO coverage.
If the EVDO Modem is located near doors or windows, the service could face technical problems due to weather conditions or topography.
Depends on the user traffic on the network at a specific moment.

Where can I get technical assistance?

You can contact us at opsupport@centennialpr.net or call 787-620-0600 seven days a week (Monday through Saturday 9:00am - 9:00pm and Sundays from 10:00am to 7:00pm)

Can I download music, videos and movies with the new Instant Internet plan?
Yes.  You can surf the Internet, download documents, videos, music and movies among other applications.

Do you apply the 10GB included in the Instant Internet plan to my account on a monthly basis?
Yes, you can use up to 10GB of data on a monthly basis.

Can I rollover the amount of GB that I do not use?
No, but it is important to emphasize that 92% of our customer base uses less than 10GB.

Will my service be cut off if I use more than 10GB?
No, you will have the option to move to the 30GB plan or you will be charged $5.12 for additional GB. 

Is there other Instant Internet plan with more GB or data?
Yes, for an additional $10 we can triple your GB with the 30GB plan.  The cost of the plan is $59.99 monthly if it's a main line or $39.99 as companion.

Will I be charged additionally if I exceed 30GB?
Yes, you will be charged $5.12 for every additional GB.  But, please note that if you exceed 30GB it practically means that you are connected 24 hours downloading lots of movies and other large applications.

Can I download movies?
Yes, you can download movies and music.  Downloading one movie consumes approximately 1GB. This means that you still have 29GB left to download other movies or heavy documents.

Is there any other Instant Internet plan with more than 30GB or data?
Yes, for $199.99 a month we offer 150 GB.  This plan applies only to main lines.

Is credit check and contract required to get the Instant Internet service?
Yes, it requires credit check and a two (2) year contract.
